Evolutionary Ecology & Life History Evolution of Fishes

Research Synopsis

My research focuses on the life history evolution, population dynamics, behavioural ecology, population genetics, and resilience of fishes. Primary study species include Atlantic cod, Atlantic salmon, and brook trout. From an applied perspective, the work has bearing on complexities related to: sustainable fisheries; species recovery; interactions between farmed and wild fishes; human-induced evolution; and biodiversity.
